These pictures are from way back in August but we thought they were cool enough to still warrant a post. Over two weekends Singapore held a Night Festival in the area around the National Museum and the Art Museum. You can enter the museums till midnight, there are a bunch of outdoor art exhibits and they have a bunch of food vendors around. The first weekend we first walked around the museums and saw an exhibit of famous wedding dresses on loan from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Afterwards we went outside to catch different digital light shows projected onto the face of the museums.
The second weekend we met up with our friend Jackie. First we watched a performance from an Argentina dance group. They performed on top of a clear plastic tarp that contained some water and suspended in the air. I'm not exactly sure what they were trying to convey with their dances but it was the most artistic wet t-shirt contest I had ever seen. :) Afterwards we walked around and saw different outdoor art exhibits and children playing with paper in the street. At the end we were about to leave but then caught a group of beat box performers on stage and stayed till the end of their show and the end of the festival. It all was very creative and unique. It will be interesting to see what they have for this year's festival.
